Magical Seahorses Return to Land for a Very Special Event!   

POINT ROBERTS, WA, Delta, B.C. October 04, 2004 - Wild Heart Ranch, Inc (www.WildHeartRanch.com), attended the 31st Annual Neptune Festival in Virginia Beach, Virginia . Pegasus, Splash, Bubbles, Sandy, Meadow, Sunflower, and their friends spent a rare day on land at the recent Neptune Festival. These magical seahorses have lived under the sea since being led there by the white stallion, Pegasus... until they were drawn back to earth by the excitement of the Neptune Festival and the chance to enrich children's lives.  

The 31st Annual Neptune Festival drew a crowd of more than 100,000 to enjoy the unexpectedly great weather and to participate in three days of excitement celebrating Neptune and his Kingdom. The I Sea Horses and their friends were given as prizes for Neptune 's 8K Run and for several activities on Youth Day.  

"Everything went very well for us, especially the weather," said Brian Sagedy, one of the event's organizers. "We were very glad the seahorses joined us. They were very well received. They're cute and the kids liked them."  

Now that the festival is over the magical seahorse herd has returned to their mystical home under the waves. They will be back in time for Christmas, though - where you will be able to find them under the trees of lots of very happy children!  

I Sea Horses... The Legend

Pegasus, the brave leader of a band of earthly horses, had a vision that his herd's life of freedom on land was about to end. Pegasus knew he must either choose the sky or the sea as a safe haven for his herd.  

So he chose to lead his herd into the sea to find their new destiny. Adapting to their new environment, they transformed from earthly-hued, four-legged horses into a magical group of tropical-colored seahorses that now live in peace and harmony in the ocean's depths.  

A new book - written by Dawn Van Zant of Wild Heart Ranch and beautifully illustrated by her daughter Cali -- has just been released. I Sea Horses tells the tale of how Pegasus's herd followed the light from a Star and entered a magical aquatic realm to become the first Seahorses.  

This brave band of horses is now available in six collectible plush seahorses that have magical lights, nametags, and poems that tell their stories. This line of plush toys has just been named as one of "Dr. Toy's 100 Best Children's Products of 2004"!  

Earlier this year the I Sea Horses line was awarded the "Seal of Excellence" by Creative Child Magazine.
